You will work with a team of very competent leaders that drive our customer projects and assignments. Being able to motivate, engage and fully make use of the teams' collective knowledge will be your day-to-day business.

You will be in the center of our operations and your team will be working closely with our fantastic customers every day of the year. Making our customers happy and keeping control of our projects is the main task for you and your team.

You will be part of the management team and as such you will bring the experience from your team into our strategic discussions that builds our company in the coming years.

Job description

As Head of Project Management Office you will be part of the Management, and report to the CEO. You will be responsible for leading and manage the Project Management Office team to deliver projects and assignments that meets the needs of our customers and to develop and deliver a strategic vision and direction for our Project Management Office. You will be responsible for the deliveries to our customers as well as for securing that we can deliver according to planned Quality, Cost and Time.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

As the successful candidate you will have a positive attitude, strong leadership and communication skills, as well as experience from organizations delivering in project structures. You will have documented experience leading people, building teams, and setting structures and processes.

As Head of Project Management Office you will lead a team of between 15 and 20 highly experienced and competent Project Managers who run customer projects/assignments that are varying in size from a few persons up to 35. You will be responsible for defining the processes and tools which our project managers use in their daily work and will ensure that we have the right competence and capacity to meet our commitments and develop and grow our employees.

As part of the Management team, you will be a part of setting the direction for our business and bring the delivery and project management perspective into this work. You will monitor our projects’ execution and support the project managers where necessary. Together with our sales team you will be expected to interact directly with our customers as part of project steering groups, and during the sell-in phase being involved quotation and customer agreement work, building confidence in our ability to deliver on commitments.

Required experience

  • 10-20 years of experience within product development with a focus on project management
  • Experienced, confident, and proven leadership in an international context
  • Knowledge of the electronics industry and its trends
  • People management, leading and motivating others
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to identify opportunities and solutions
  • Experience from consulting or similar position in IT industry with proven sales and customer interface experience
  • Superior communication and presenting abilities - in writing, listening, and speaking.

Education - Degree in engineering.

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS, PERSONAL TRAITS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proven leadership experience and experience building teams,
  • A solid background in project-oriented delivery,
  • Experience with defining processes for product development,
  • Strong communication skills in English,
  • Experience from product development of electronics products including both Hardware and Software
